Home Organizing & Refresh — Seattle Green Earth Cleaning
Organizing & Refresh Services

Spaces that work. Systems that hold.

Beyond clean, reclaiming and reimagining your space.

Whether your space needs a deep, hands on transformation or a spotless, well arranged reset, we bring training, thoughtfulness, and real hands on care to every space we touch.

Two paths, one philosophy — your home should work for you.

We offer two distinct services for the spaces in your home that need more than just cleaning. Both are delivered by our organizing trained team, and both leave you with something better than what we found. The difference is depth, meaning how much sorting, decision making, and system building is involved.

Professional Home Organizing
Option One
NAPO-Trained Professional Organizers

Professional Home Organizing

A truly organized home is more than tidy. It's a system that works for the way you actually live. Our professional home organizing is a deep, hands on service that goes far beyond cleaning. We sort, prune, and rebuild from the ground up to create spaces that hold up over time.

This is an in-depth service. It involves real decisions about what stays and what goes, and your involvement matters. We work alongside you to identify what's serving your home and what isn't, then build custom systems around what's left. Expect to make choices about belongings, discuss how you use each space, and walk away with something that's genuinely transformed, not just rearranged.

We organize anything from a single space to an entire home. In most cases we'll focus on one or two spaces at a time, even when the whole house is the eventual goal. Working this way lets us give each space the attention it needs and build systems that hold before we move on to the next one. During your consultation we'll talk through your priorities together and map out what to tackle first.

Delivered by SGEC professionals who have completed the NAPO program for professional organizing, our team brings both the training and the thoughtfulness to make this process feel collaborative rather than overwhelming.

SGEC's Organizing Process

Our approach to Professional Home Organizing follows a process with distinct steps to reach your goals:

  1. Sort. We begin by pulling everything out of the space and sorting items into categories.
  2. Prune. We work with you to make decisions about each item. Is it serving a purpose in your life? Is it no longer needed, but you feel unable to let it go? Is it something you love that needs a new place in your home? We handle the removal and donation or disposal of all waste and everything that's no longer serving you.
  3. Develop a system. We talk through your daily routines, habits, and lifestyle, asking what works for you and what doesn't. The goal here is to design systems you can actually maintain.
  4. Research & source organizing products. Once items are pruned and we have the framework for your systems, we research and procure organizing products to bring your vision for the space to life. We're also glad to use containers and products you already own when they'll meet the goals of the project.
  5. Assign a home. The final step: installing all organizing products, finalizing systems, and placing each item in an intentional home, then walking you through the finished space so you know exactly where everything lives.

Professional Home Organizing is, by nature, an involved and at times emotionally demanding process. Sorting through years of belongings can bring all sorts of feelings to the surface. We are here to guide and support you every step of the way, with no judgment, at your own pace.

After the project, check-ins. Life happens, and maintaining an organized space often takes ongoing support. Once your project is complete we'll reach out for regularly scheduled check-ins every X months to see how things are feeling. For hands-on help, we also offer in-depth maintenance through our Curated Standard packages.

Option Two

Refresh

Refresh is our detailed reset service that combines deep cleaning with light organizing. It's fast, high-impact, and leaves a spotless, polished, and easily accessible final result, without asking you to sort through belongings or make decisions about what to keep.

It's ideal for storage areas like kitchen and bathroom cabinets, drawers, shelves, laundry rooms, utility spaces, and closets. Anywhere that could benefit from a thorough clean and detailed reset, without the in-depth process of sorting, pruning, and developing systems. Book a single space or bundle several together.

Refresh works best for spaces that are relatively tidy and already have some level of organizational system in place. If you're looking for more in-depth support for your home, including sorting, pruning, sourcing organizing products, and developing systems from the ground up, our Professional Home Organizing service would likely be a wonderful fit.

How it works

  1. Empty the space. Our organizing trained team removes everything from the area you've chosen.
  2. Deep clean. We give the space a thorough scrub, including surfaces, shelves, corners, everything.
  3. Return with intention. Items go back with a focus on accessibility, organization, and visual polish.
How we work with you. Our refresh specialists connect with you at the beginning of the project and combine your preferences for how things are arranged with their own professional expertise, creating a spotless finished result where each item is placed with intentionality. You won't need to sort through your belongings or make hard decisions about what to keep.

How to Choose

Which one is right for your space?

Both services leave you with something better than what we found. The difference comes down to depth, meaning how much decluttering, decision making, and system building the space actually needs. Here's a side-by-side to help you decide.

Consider
Professional Organizing
Refresh
Choose it when
The space has more in it than it can hold, or the current setup stopped working a while ago
The space is mostly working and mostly tidy, it just needs a deep clean and a better arrangement
What happens to your things
Sorted and pruned. Some things leave the house, and we handle donation and disposal
Everything stays. It all comes back to the space, cleaner and easier to reach
Your part in it
Active. You make the calls about what stays, with us alongside you
Light. Tell us how you like things arranged, then step away if you'd like
New systems and products
Yes. We design the systems and source containers, labels, and products for the space
No. We work with the setup and containers already there
A pantry, for example
Emptied, sorted, expired and unused items cleared out, then rebuilt in zones with containers and labels. About 12 to 16 hours
Emptied, shelves scrubbed, everything returned grouped and reachable with the labels facing out. About 4 to 6 hours
What you're left with
A transformed space with systems built around how you live, plus check-ins to keep it going
A spotless, polished, easy to use version of what you already had

Still not sure? Tell us about the space when you reach out and we'll help you pick the right fit.

Common Questions

What to expect, answered honestly.

Inviting someone into your home to help with organizing can feel vulnerable. Here's what we hear most often, and how we approach it.

Do I need to declutter before you arrive?
Absolutely not. For Professional Home Organizing, decluttering is the work. We do it together. For Refresh, there's no decluttering involved at all. In both cases, the mess you're worried about is exactly what we're trained to handle.
Will I have to get rid of a lot of things?
Not unless you decide to. In Professional Home Organizing, we'll ask questions and offer perspective, but every decision about what stays and what goes is yours. Refresh doesn't involve any decluttering at all, so everything comes back to the space.
Do I need to be home during the session?
For Professional Home Organizing, yes. Your involvement is essential because we're making decisions together. For Refresh, we connect with you at the start to learn how you'd like things arranged, and from there you're free to step away and come home to a finished result.
Can you organize my whole house?
Yes, and we'll usually do it a space or two at a time. Focusing on one or two areas per project lets us give each one the attention it needs, and it gives your new systems a chance to settle in before we take on the next space. We'll build the plan with you at your consultation.
What's the difference in cost?
Professional Home Organizing is billed at a higher hourly rate than Refresh because it's more time-intensive and requires trained decision support alongside the physical work. As a rough comparison, a pantry refresh runs 4 to 6 hours ($600 to $900), while a full pantry organize runs 12 to 16 hours ($1,800 to $2,400). We always confirm scope and pricing before we begin, so there are no surprises.
Is there a fee for the organizing consultation?
Yes. The Organizing Consultation is a $150 one-time fee, and it's applied as a credit toward your organizing project when you book. Refresh doesn't require a consultation.
Do you provide the containers and organizing products?
We can help source products or work with what you already have, whichever you prefer. During the consultation we'll assess what's needed and either recommend specific products for you to purchase, or coordinate that on your behalf and bill for the products separately.
Can you handle donations and haul-away?
Yes. For Professional Home Organizing, we coordinate donation drop-off to local reuse centers as part of our complimentary Donation & Recycling Pickup service. Large or bulky items may require separate arrangements, and we'll talk through that with you as part of the plan.
Will you judge my house?
Never. Homes are lived in, and life gets busy. Our team is trained to bring warmth and thoughtfulness to every space. We've seen it all, and we're not here to judge. We're here to help.
